Here's the plan:
Collaborate with friends to create comedy skits that we can do using the resources available to us... Namely, a couple digital video cameras and our personal computers combined with some nice digital video editing packages.
If you'd like to put your two cents in, all you have to do is
login to the site and post comments in reply to this topic. I know that a few of my friends are especially creative in the area of funny. Sometimes I have my moments, but most of the time I can't remember the really spiffy idea I had.
I think this would be a great way to learn how to do some creative editing, working with multiple camera angles, multiple locations, and an unlimited budget. Well, two out of three ain't bad.
So if you have something to offer feel free to throw in with us and we'll kick our ideas around until we get something that looks good.
And if we get tired of waiting, we'll just go with one of the sucky ideas.

Here's a few concepts:
1. Reality Bites: A couple losers decide to video tape their largely unsuccessful crime careers.
2. What Women (Don't) Want: A guy imagines for some reason that he can hear women's thoughts. We listen in to what he hears and what they're really thinking. The funny part of this is we try to film this "on location" and the women aren't in on the joke.

G1. Working Title: Managers at Play.
Skit focuses on a group of executive managers trying to play xbox over the internet. Problem is they have no technical experience, so they have to bring there employees over to help out... which the employees familar with xbox wouldn't mind, except the managers keep giving the advice as to how it should be setup.... comedic situations ensue ;)

Big Brother: The Return of Darth Maul
Take off of the popular(?) CBS reality tv show, with a twist. One of the Big Brother household members is Darth Maul famed Sith Lord seen in Star Wars Episode 1
Which executive producer okay'd him bringing his Light Saber™ as his luxury item?
Mike had the idea that Darth Maul could be on The Fifth Wheel tv show. I thought it would be especially funny if the other people on the show just thought that Darth Maul was some guy dressed up as Darth Maul and they made fun of him.

Basically make a somewhat complex storyline, and do it in "realtime" like on the FOX show
