Happy holidays!

Hello all.I hope that everyone is ready for the holidays. I want to wish everyone a happy holiday season, and hopefully you're not running up your credit card bills too much.
Lots of fun stuff lately. If you haven't already, check out the photos section where you'll find pictures of Gingerbread Houses that a group of us made recently after one of the notorious crazy brunches. Mine was probably the worst one. I was going for a Dallas Cowboys/White Trash kind of theme. For the Dallas Cowboys fans and/or white trash that may be reading this, no offense meant.
Lately I've been working on making all the digital photos I have available through this site. A lot of them have been indexed so that you can do keyword searches. Check out the search page to try it out. As time permits, more photos will be indexed, making this feature even more useful. I've been getting into the habit of indexing any new photos, however older images are at the bottom of my priority list.
The football pool has been doing well. I think we still have everyone participating that has participated, meaning that nobody dropped out. That's great! Currently kailden is leading the pool overall with only a few games left in the regular season. I will be adding the playoff games as they are scheduled. Stay tuned for some new ideas for next year's pool. I will take suggestions and allow registered users to vote on them, with the majority of positive votes deciding if the new idea/rule will be adopted.
Once again, we're planning to host a New Year's Eve party at our house. If I know you, and you're reading this, you're invited. :) This year I'm hoping we can do the Newlywed Game again. That was a lot of fun last year. Karaoke will be available but I'm not sure how hard I'll be pushing it this year. Last year I had drunk enough to get up and sing, but not enough to think I sounded good. Mebbe we can implement a gong show kinda thing and have some prizes or something. Who knows?
I should have mentioned/plugged it earlier, but there is a registry feature on this site that lets you add items and then send a key to people you want to see it. You have to know some basic browser skills like how to get an image URL from another site and cut/copy/paste type stuff but I have found it useful. I usually add stuff to it throughout the year and at Christmas time, when my wife wants my list I just send her the link. Works great!
Well, that's about it for now. Hope everybody enjoys time with friends and family, and remember to enjoy Christmas and the holidays for the positive aspects.
