Google Ads Have Been Discontinued

I removed the Google Ads that were embedded on these comment pages. I will be removing them from the picture pages as well.

Don't take this as an indictment against Google Ads. Since I started using Google Ads about a year ago, I have earned about $7. That is not really a statement about the performance of Google Ads, it is more a statement about my performance as a content producer, which is to say, I suck. In any case, since I rarely produce content here, I am not going to add insult to injury by making people wait for ads to load when they do venture onto this site.

I do reserve the right, of course, to reimplement ads if the site ever becomes the next YouTube or Facebook.

DSLR Cameras Rock!

You gotta love how using a DSLR camera can make a picture look good even if the subject matter is not that interesting.

I took this picture of a roll of velcro for a post on www.lifehacker.com and I just can't get over how well the Canon Rebel XT takes pictures.



If it can make a roll of velcro wraps look good, imagine what it can do when you have something really interesting to photograph.
